for makers and seekers
What’s Included
Each month, in your actual physical mailbox, you’ll find a lovely hand-packed envelope that includes:
1) Creative + contemplative prompts
A written series of approachable quests to shake up your perspective, nudge you into making stuff, and maybe help you overhear your own soul talking. Each month explores a different theme, for example:
Portals: Transitions evoke a particular set of mysterious emotions. In the first month, we’ll do a deep dive on liminality and all it evokes, so you can navigate it more gracefully.
Other themes might include: secret monsters, the elder awaits, unrequited grief, ease and wellbeing, hidden dreams, the spark of eros, eating lemons, wading into abundance, and more. Intrigued yet?
2) A letter from me
I’m nothing if not a researcher (A.K.A. someone who has done a lot of f*cking around and finding out), so if you need some context for the prompts, I’ll share a few waypoints I’ve learned from the wisdom traditions and from my own journey.
3) A quality art print
A 5 x 7 (or thereabouts) professional print of an original artwork, tied to the theme — mostly by me but sometimes featuring other artists. Frame it for your altar, stick it on your fridge, or send it as a postcard. It’s just a small token of vulnerability, an artifact of the work we’re embarking on together — a little I’ll-show-you-mine-if-you-show-me-yours.
4) The option for community support
Choose a higher membership tier to attend monthly live co-working sessions on zoom (2nd Fridays from 12–12:40pm ET), and/or receive personalized one-on-one support in a monthly 45-minute call with me.

Hi, I’m Jade.
For most of my career, I’ve worked as an editor, producer, and curriculum designer — basically a creative midwife — for some of the world’s most beloved spiritual teachers: Pema Chödrön, Roshi Joan Halifax, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama, to name a few. Along the way, I’ve also been walking my own path as a Buddhist practitioner and interfaith chaplain, providing emotional and spiritual support to hospice patients and their families as they navigate illness, death, and loss.
As a companion to psycho-spiritual work, making art has always been a lifeline for me: drawing, painting, crafting, and making things just for the joy of it. In hard times, it’s helped me soothe my mind, hear my own heart, and surrender to the flow of life.
The magic in the creative process is that it builds the same muscles we need for a meaningful life: curiosity, courage, play, and the willingness to sit with the unknown. It can shake us out of ruts, surface what’s hidden so it can be healed, and carve out space where real joy (both personal and collective) can grow.
So I’ve turned my passion for spirituality and creativity into an offering: part revelation, part recess, all yours by snail mail. When you become a member, you not only feed your own creative and inner life; you also support my ability to keep offering pastoral care to the communities I serve.
Creative Spirit Club is for turning everyday life into a playful ritual and freeing up your self-expression. You don’t need to call yourself an artist; just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
FAQs
Why should I join?
Because life can be hard, and tapping into our creativity is a way of making sense of our experience. I think of it like a pressure release valve for the mind and heart!
Also, you’d be supporting my ability to offer spiritual care in the communities where I serve as a chaplain and grief counselor.
What’s the commitment?
Join at the tiered membership rate of your choosing. You can cancel anytime — no guilt, no drama. Stay as long as it feels fun and nourishing.
When does my mailing ship?
Mailings get shipped the 2nd Friday of each month. The very first mailing will go out in January 2026.
What comes in each mailing?
Each month you’ll get:
A set of creative + contemplative prompts tied to a unique theme for that month
A letter from me providing more food for thought around that month’s theme
A small art print that also speaks to the theme
What if I’m not an artist?
Even better. This is not about being “good” at art. Think of it less like “making masterpieces” and more like “getting messy with your imagination.” It’s about play, exploration, and noticing what bubbles up. Curiosity > talent, always.
Do I have to be spiritual to enjoy this?
Not at all. “Spiritual” here just means you’re open to mystery, meaning, or self-reflection. Skeptics and seekers are equally welcome.
What makes you a trustworthy guide?
I’ve spent my whole career at the intersection of creativity and psycho-spiritual education. Learn more about my experience here.
Do I need special art supplies?
Nope. Any medium is fair game. A notebook and pen is enough. If you like paints, markers, clay, interpretive dance, or finger puppets, go wild. The prompts are designed to work with whatever you have on hand.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel anytime to prevent your membership from auto-renewing. Log into the billing portal to cancel.
How do I change my membership tier?
Log into the billing portal and cancel your existing membership, then re-subscribe at the tier of your choosing.
(For Sustainer and Patron memberships)
When will I receive a link to the zoom co-working session?
I will email a link the day of the session, every time.
When are the live zoom co-working sessions?
Every 2nd Friday from 12-12:40pm ET.
What will we do during the live sessions?
I’ll start our time together by guiding a short meditation to help us settle our minds and hearts. You’ll have the option of sharing briefly about what you’re working on, and then we’ll launch in to quiet co-working time. At the end, you’ll have the option of sharing how it went, and we’ll set our creative intentions for the coming month.
What does 1:1 coaching entail?
We’ll meet for 45 minutes once a month on zoom or by phone (your choice). There are many ways I can support you in your creative and spiritual life — whether through meditation and mindfulness, crafting custom rituals, providing accountability to your creative life, and much more. We’ll work together to uncover the tools you need.
